The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), through its National Committee on Architecture and the Allied Arts, is proud to announce the Haligi ng Dangal Awards, an annual prize given to completed work in architecture and design, with a special citation for heritage structures and sites.
Haligi ng Dangal is an annual award that aims to demonstrate that good design is a major component of the positive influence on the human environment, and that the physical development of the built environment in the Philippines can be integrated with the cultural values, national identity or the natural environment of our nation.
There will be one awardee for each of the five categories: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Urban and Environmental Planning, and Heritage.
The public is invited to participate in the nomination process. Only licensed Filipino professionals may be nominated. Nominations will be accepted until September 23. For additional information, go to @HaligiNgDangal on Facebook, or email haligingdangal.ncca@gmail.com.
