Sea Life Sydney Aquarium
An opportunity to see the underwater world of Australian marine life up close.

Spectacular habitat displays with more than 12,000 river and sea creatures from 650 species are featured in three oceanariums and 60 tanks. Keep an eye out for the shy platypus, a creature like no other on earth; the imposing Murray Cod, one of the world’s largest freshwater fish; as well as little penguins, stingrays and seahorses. Hop onto a glass-bottomed boat to get a closer look at the sharks and visit the lagoon to see dugongs, known as the cows of the sea. (www.sydneyaquarium.com.au)

Madame Tussauds
Revel at the opportunity to rub shoulders with the rich and famous—even if they are indeed wax works. After all, this may be the closest you can get to meeting them as Madame Tussauds in Darling Harbour brings together incredibly life-like figures of the world’s most influential people—from royalty to presidents; sports champions to entertainers; and even history’s greatest inventors and philosophers.

Visitors are highly encouraged to join the spotlight and take photos, be it with Queen Elizabeth II, Oprah, Barrack Obama in the Oval Office, and the newly married Brad and Angelina. (www.madametussauds.com/sydney)

The zoo is on the elevated land along the waterfront at Bradley’s Head, Mosman which is a great vantage point to take in the harbor vista. Some say the giraffes have the best views in town! Queen Victoria Building
Experience shopping on a grand scale and in grand style at The Queen Victoria Building. Affectionately known as the QVB by Sydneysiders, the 19th century building fills an entire city block and is a fine example of elaborate Romanesque architecture and craftsmanship. Add to the scene five levels of retail outlets offering fashion, jewelry, homewares, gifts and more, an array of cozy cafes and you have all the ingredients needed for a fabulous retail therapy excursion.

Skywalk at the Sydney Tower Eye
Go up 268 meters above the street and the highest accessible point above Sydney for the most breathtaking 360-degree views in town. Take the Skywalk Experience and feel as if you’re walking on air with only the glass-floor viewing platform between you and the city below. This is truly a bird’s eye view of Sydney and an unforgettable experience. (www.sydneytowereye.com.au/explore/skywalk)
