“When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.” — Sophia Loren
When it comes to being a mother, there is really no telling when it stops. A mother is always a mother, it doesn’t matter if her children are grown, live far away, or have families of their own. A mother would always be thinking of the well-being of her children.
Children often think that once they move out of the home or begin to live independent lives, they stop being children. But the truth of the matter is, no matter how old you are and no matter what you have accomplished in your life, you would always need a mother’s love and guidance.
A mother’s relationship with her children can be quite complex. While there are mothers who have become so lost in themselves that they could never care for another, most mothers desire one thing for their children and that is for them to live happy and successful lives. A mother would always be there for her children, helping them in any way that she can.
This type of mother’s love is displayed in the relationship former actress Anna Marie Marin shares with her children Ron Poe and Bryan Francisco.

Anna Marie, who has made a mark for herself in local tinseltown, is a permanent fixture in Bryan’s thriving business Kapeng Mainit. Whether it is to help her son with his many holiday orders or just to oversee the operations, Anna Marie is Bryan’s number one supporter.
“Without her belief in me, I would not be where I am now. Like all mother-and-son relationships, we do have our ups and downs but what matters is the forgiveness and unconditional love that we have in each other,” says of his relationship with his mom.
Bryan is also quick to reflect on how his mom has supported his business.
“The success of Kapeng Mainit is rooted in my mother’s unconditional love for me and her support financially, emotionally, and mentally. Her contribution is unquantifiable, you just really cannot put a number to it.”
He also adds on how his mom has created a strong foundation for his business, “Growth is rooted on a strong foundation and she is one of the reasons why Kapeng Mainit has been able to grow through the years.”

Bryan also shares the best advice his mother has given to him that allows him to get through the challenging times, “She always tells me, double for your trouble, keep your head down and work hard no matter what the trials you face, keep your faith in God, and keep going.”
It is this love that has allowed Bryan and his brother Ron to soar, “My mother’s love has motivated me to work smarter, harder, and wiser.” This strong foundation of love has also encouraged Bryan to take giant leaps in his business, especially since he knows that he has support that would not waver.
One of his latest ventures is opening Kapeng Mainit in Tagaytay, the popular restaurant he himself developed is now open in one of the country’s favorite destinations. “Our Tagaytay branch has always been a passion project of mine, I believe all chefs dream of having a place in Tagaytay.”
Bryan adds a little twist to the famed restaurant by adding a unique touch to his Tagaytay branch, “My goal for Kapeng Mainit is to be the ‘must-go’ place when you’re in Tagaytay for beignets, egg waffle, and pastries. We are in the process of creating a specific product line that will be exclusively experienced in Kapeng Mainit Tagaytay.”
Bryan’s excitement cannot be denied and with this excitement comes gratitude for one of his mother’s greatest lessons.
“It’s all about giving glory to God for without Him, I wouldn’t have gotten anywhere. Hard work, perseverance, and faith,” he stresses.
