Together they successfully completed the improvement of Imelda Elementary School’s science laboratory, which was turned over to the school in Malabon City.
Present during turnover ceremonies were the school’s principal Mary Lu Rocela Cabais; World Vision communications manager Genesis Jeff Lamigo; and Krispy Kreme Philippines senior marketing manager Ariane Valinton.
Parents and students of Imelda Elementary School also attended this special occasion.
Krispy Kreme is a member of Max’s Group, Inc. (MGI), which always anchored its mission on spreading the joy of sharing.
“Max’s Group has always placed a premium on reaching out to communities to help uplift their lives, and Krispy
Kreme shares the same belief as it supports the youth and public schools,” said MGI chair and Krispy Kreme Philippines chief executive officer Sharon Fuentebella.
“Even the smallest donations can go a long way, and when we put them all together, there’s definitely a lot that we can do just like improving a science laboratory and building better classrooms for the benefit of the Filipino youth,” Fuentebella added.
Everyone has the opportunity to share in this mission as P20 from each purchase of a half-dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts packaged in specially designed tin cans goes to World Vision Philippines. Two additional classrooms are intended to be turned over to the school by 2017.
