TESSA MAURICIO-ARRIOLA

Today The Sunday Times Magazine celebrates another anniversary, and as in past annual issues, features not only its weekly crop of inspirational stories, but also aspirational lifestyles in the spirit of celebration.

For this issue, former “It Girl”-turned designer-cum-entrepreneur and homemaker Amina Aranaz Alunan welcomes The Sunday Times Magazine into her young family’s abode, which she loving calls her “happy place,” and reveals how she balances career, marriage and motherhood so beautifully.

Next generation Regal Films producer, Roselle Monteverde, also gives readers an exclusive peek into her fitness regimen of Pilates, whose principles of strengthening one’s core muscles via discipline, escalating challenges, and trust, also helps in running one of the country’s most iconic movie companies.

Ferdinand Alexander Marcos 3rd, or simply Sandro to family, friends and his newfound admirers likewise takes some of the spotlight in this anniversary issue, as he talks about his “regular” life in London and dealing with his celebrity back home as the son of Sen. Bongbong Marcos.

Meanwhile, this year’s featured destination takes readers to the Bicol Region, whose adventurous spots gets a taste of luxury with the famed property of MisIbis Bay.
Besides these special features, the magazine continues to carry its regular sections, namely Filipino Champions; Literary Life under respected literary editor Elmer Ordonez; and Arts Awake, under newly appointed Arts & Culture editor and Radikal Chika columnist Katrina Stuart-Santiago.

On behalf of the entire team of The Sunday Times Magazine, I would like to thank our loyal readers for their continued support and look forward to another year of “Inspiration, Celebrity and Style.”
